One haiku poem and accompanying story for each day of the week. Young, lovable characters will encounter life’s truths through everyday situations.
On Sunday, we will meet Sunny and learn that we were created to be epic.
On Monday, Manny will help us to overcome the challenges of change.
On Tuesday, Tiffy will teach us it’s OK to not be an expert.
On Wendesday, Wendy will learn to “use her words.”
On Thursday, Tommy tells us his “wiggly pencil” is why he can’t sit still.
On Friday, Frankie faces his fear of trying new things.
On Saturday, Samie show us the way to gain inner calm.
These books are family books intended to be read to younger children by older children where adults are within “earshot.” We will all learn, teach and share together.
One glance at them and you feel certain that each one of them has a voice, a personality and a story to tell. We will learn or be reminded of great truths through these characters.
Each day’s book will begin with a haiku poem, either one that I’ve already published or one that I will write just for the book. A story will flow from the haiku.
A glossary will be included to assist with some challenging vocabulary because kids love to learn big words!
