This past Sunday marked a turning point for many of us, including our little “old-soul,” Sunny. With an imagination and vocabulary drenched in color, Sunny intends to let everyone know that none of us are blank pages. This young boy adores the library, gives people the benefit of the doubt and often giggles at his own outrageous jokes. I am so in love with this kid.

“One thing I know is that Sundays are filled with possibilities!” says Sunny, the first of the 7 Little Haiku Truths characters.

Sunny doesn’t know for sure, but he senses that there is something big -epic, even- in himself and in all of us. Join Sunny on his adventure as he interprets being “fearfully and wonderfully made” as meaning he has epic superpowers which lead him to fighting off hungry bears, protecting library ladies and teaching all of us that we too, possess something special, even if we don’t yet see it in ourselves.”
